Open Online Notepad.
Type in the text area—content auto-saves to this browser as you type. There is no separate Save button.
Check the status for character and word counts. Word counting is whitespace-based and is not language-aware.
Use the toolbar for Open, Undo / Redo, zoom, and Select all.
Use Copy, Print, or Download .txt to export. Fullscreen fills the screen for focus writing (Esc or Exit fullscreen to leave).
Clear empties the editor and local storage for this draft.

Text stays on your device. Closing the tab does not delete the draft unless you Clear or wipe site data.

Missing text after reopen — Confirm you are in the same browser and profile; private windows may discard storage when closed.
Download blocked — Allow downloads for this site in browser settings.
Need speech — Paste into Text to speech after copying from the notepad.
